A traditional oxford fabric, robust and casual, with a natural, nubby variation in the texture. Wears in beautifully; lasts forever.

Inspired by the vintage oxfords used by Brooks Brothers and others in the 1950s and 1960s, it is woven in Italy exclusively for Permanent Style. 

For bespoke shirts, most oxfords on offer are smooth and fine, aimed at a business customer to wear with a worsted suit or jacket - which makes it hard to find something traditional to make up bespoke. 

The PS Oxford fabric fills that gap, and is available in 2-metre cut lengths.

Says Simon: "It goes with all your basics: denim, plus navy and grey. Use it to add interest under a navy jacket, especially without neckwear, or wear it with a grey suit and a brown-striped club tie."
